Client - GE Transportation - acted as assistant commercial manager, working on FUES Project. Looked after all materials ordering and delivery to Network Rail WCML.
Client - Network Rail WCML - Brought in to get the commercial department of Area Services South, to bring this department back on track after it was found to be in need of an overhaul. Implemented a number changes to make the department strong and won over £12m of re-railing works. On top of this had a £13m budget looking after maintenance works on network including Welding, Off Track, OHL, and building management.
Client - EDF Energy / UK Power Networks - hired to work on various capital programme projects within EPN Region. Value of works ranged from £100k to £5m, with approximately £20m of projects worked on per annum. These ranged from wood pole 11kv works to sub station refurb and rebuilds unto 132kV. The projects were civil and electrical. All were conducted under a NEC 3 contract using option A, C and E. Role included target price reviews, cost management, application approvals and variation agreements.
Client - Kier on Team Van Ord Environment Agency Anglian Framework - Initially tasked with sorting out the commercial department and to rebuild the commercial relationship with the Environment Agency after the poor performance to date. Worked closely with the Kier Project Manager to ascertain where the project was failing, rebuilt the relationship and put in place safeguards and procedures to rebuild confidence. The £15m Project was completed with full gain share under NEC 3 Option C.
